The 243rd Department of Military Science and Tactics (DMST) conducted a courtesy call on July 28, 2026, at the University of the Cordilleras (UC) Peer Learning Room to formally introduce the newly designated UC-PAF ROTC Training Staff to the University’s key officials in preparation for the First Trimester of School Year 2026–2027. The activity brought together University administrators, ROTC coordinators, and members of the ROTC Training Staff to strengthen institutional coordination and reinforce their shared commitment to the effective implementation of the ROTC program.

The courtesy call served as a platform for fostering open communication, establishing professional working relationships, and aligning the roles and responsibilities of both the University and the ROTC Training Staff. Through meaningful dialogue and collaboration, the participants reaffirmed their dedication to providing a well-coordinated and student-centered ROTC program that upholds excellence, discipline, and service. The activity concluded with a renewed commitment to maintaining a strong partnership in support of the University’s mission and the successful conduct of ROTC activities throughout the academic year.

This initiative supports SDG 4 (Quality Education), by strengthening institutional support for quality military education and leadership development. It also aligns with SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), by promoting effective governance, collaboration, and responsible institutional partnerships. And it achieves SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), through the continued cooperation between the University of the Cordilleras and the ROTC Training Staff in advancing shared educational and civic objectives.
