The University of the Cordilleras (UC) commenced its 78th Commencement Exercises on September 23, 2024, dedicating the ceremony to celebrating the achievements of graduates from the College of Law (COL) and the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), along with those who successfully earned their diplomas in other related law enforcement and governance courses, such as Political Science.
This milestone event significantly augmented the university’s contribution to legal and public service professions. The Class of 2024 saw the following graduates conferred:
• 419 graduates from the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE).
• 121 graduates from the College of Law (COL).
• 95 graduates from Political Science.
These new alumni brought the total number of graduates in law, law enforcement, and related courses from the university to 2,941, building upon the previously conferred total of 2,306 graduates in these fields.
This substantial endeavor aligns consistently with Sustainable Development Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), as the university continues to produce professionals dedicated to upholding the rule of law and enhancing public safety. The consistent output of highly qualified graduates from these specialized colleges, including the CCJE’s status as one of the top-performing schools in the country, reinforces UC’s commitment to generating leaders crucial for achieving justice and maintaining strong governance.
