The University of the Cordilleras College of Criminal Justice Education (UC-CCJE) and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Cordillera Administrative Region (CIDG-CAR) formally sealed their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) held on September 3, 2025, at the Innovation and Technology Transfer Office, UC-Legarda Campus.
The event commenced at 9:00 a.m., with representatives from both institutions to discuss the importance of collaboration in enhancing academic instruction and practical training for criminology students. The agreement emphasizes the shared commitment of UC-CCJE and CIDG-CAR to provide criminology interns with opportunities for field exposure, professional mentorship, and experiential learning aligned with the demands of modern investigative work.
This partnership marks a significant step in bridging academic preparation with real-world law enforcement practice, ensuring that UC-CCJE students are well-equipped with the necessary competencies to excel in the field of criminal investigation and public safety.
