On May 15, 2023, the Senior High School students at Easter College got an exciting introduction to the world of forensic science through an informative activity led by the Forensic Science Practicum students. This event, entitled “Solving the Mystery: Exploring the Fascinating World of Forensic Science to Solve Crimes,” provided participants with a unique opportunity to witness how the principles of science intersect with the pursuit of justice.

The event kicked off with the distribution of meticulously crafted brochures that contained a wealth of information about the diverse fields within forensic science, including DNA analysis, fingerprinting, toxicology, and crime scene investigation. These visually appealing materials not only informed the students but also ignited their curiosity, showcasing the integral role that science and technology play in solving crimes. By bridging the gap between academic theory and practical application, this initiative encouraged students to consider forensic science as a viable career option, while underscoring the significance of scientific literacy in fostering a just society.

Through this impactful Information Drive, the Forensic Science Practicum students shared their expertise and inspired their peers to imagine a future where they could also make meaningful contributions to a more equitable and peaceful world. Events like this exemplify the transformative power of education as a catalyst for justice, empowerment, and societal advancement.
