UC-CCJE Orientation: Building Academic Excellence and Constituent Support

The College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) successfully laid the foundation for academic and social integration by welcoming students, particularly freshmen, during the college orientation on September 14, 2024. This event was essential for informing students about the college structure, faculty, support offices, rules, and expectations.

The CCJE College Student Council (CSC) played a vital role in this integration by providing a breakdown of the planned activities for the trimester . This delivery of essential information and social planning by the CSC demonstrates how the student union provides direct support for students and organizes crucial social activities contributing to SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). This proactive approach to student welfare and engagement reflects the wider institutional emphasis on empowered constituent bodies.

By combining clear academic expectations—backed by accreditation—with formalized student support and social planning, the orientation ensured that new students began their academic journey grounded in the college’s commitment to quality education and institutional well-being.
