With renewed excitement and anticipation, the Locard’s Society of Forensic Science (LSFS) launched a new chapter of Forensic Chronicles on June 6, 2025. The online-based written docuseries highlights compelling background stories and breakthroughs in forensic science, aiming to bring students, enthusiasts, and the wider community closer to the evolving world of truth and justice.
Posted on the official LSFS Facebook page, the first release of the revived series quickly gained attention, gathering 45 likes and 14 shares. This comeback marks a fresh beginning after more than a year of inactivity, re-establishing Forensic Chronicles as an accessible source of knowledge and inspiration for those who wish to better understand the field.
According to LSFS, the project intends not only to inform but also to remind audiences of the events, people, and innovations that have shaped forensic science over the years. Through narratives and developments drawn from real cases and scientific progress, the series invites readers to examine methods critically and to reflect on the pursuit of truth that lies at the heart of the discipline.
The initiative directly supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, by fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment outside the classroom. By making forensic science more approachable to students and the general public, Forensic Chronicles encourages curiosity, sharpens analytical thinking, and underscores the essential role of science in the pursuit of justice.
With this relaunch, the Locard’s Society affirms its commitment to education, truth-seeking, and innovation. As Forensic Chronicles turns a new page, it stands as both a learning tool and a reminder of forensic science’s vital role in society—past, present, and future.
