UC CCJE Strengthens Inclusive Education Through Faculty Training

In an effort to promote inclusive and effective teaching practices, the University of the Cordilleras – College of Criminal Justice Education (UC CCJE) organized a Faculty Development Program on February 15, 2025, entitled “Exploring Instructional Strategies for Diverse Learners.”

Facilitated by Ms. Sheena B. Bogyoy, the program included an engaging discussion and role-playing exercises that enabled faculty members to experience and implement a variety of teaching strategies designed to meet diverse learning needs. This practical approach encouraged educators to investigate innovative methods for engaging students with varying abilities, backgrounds, and learning styles.

Through their involvement in this program, faculty members acquired practical strategies aimed at improving student learning, thereby making education more accessible, inclusive, and effective. This training is in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, highlighting the significance of empowering educators to cultivate dynamic and inclusive classroom environments.

UC CCJE is dedicated to ongoing faculty development, ensuring that instructors are adequately prepared to meet the changing needs of students. By promoting a learning atmosphere that prioritizes diversity and engagement, the college reinforces its commitment to delivering quality education that serves the interests of all learners.
