UC-PAF ROTC Unit Joins Panagbenga Parade: A Celebration of Community Engagement and Leadership

On February 1, 2025, the University of the Cordilleras – Philippine Air Force (PAF) ROTC Unit made a notable appearance in the grand opening parade of the Panagbenga Festival, a vibrant celebration that showcases the rich culture and unity of the region. The cadets captivated the crowd with their meticulously executed drills and synchronized movements, embodying the values of discipline, commitment, and active youth engagement within the community.

Guided by the experienced leadership of SSG Solano PAF (Res), Sgt Nejal PAF (Res), Sgt Poclet PAF (Res), and Sgt Pariñas PAF (Res), the cadets delivered an impressive silent drill performance. This display not only highlighted their individual and collective skills but also reinforced the critical role of teamwork in achieving excellence. Their participation is a testament to the robust partnerships developed between the university, local organizations, and community members, all working together to promote leadership and a spirit of service.

This event aligns seamlessly with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 17: Partnerships for the Goals, which advocates for the need for collaboration in the pursuit of sustainable development.
