On January 12, 2025, the University of the Cordilleras – Philippine Air Force (PAF) ROTC Unit proudly celebrated the Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2024 COQC 4CL Cadets. This significant event also included the Donning of Ranks for 1CL and 2CL Advance Cadet Officers, honoring the commitment, perseverance, and leadership demonstrated by the cadets throughout their ROTC journey.
The ceremony was led by Sgt. Mark Francis M. Secretario, PAF (Res), as the Master of Ceremony, alongside TSg. Iris M. Lim, PAF, and SSG. Solano, PAF (Res). The esteemed presence of Maj. Bajade, PAF, further underscored the significance of this milestone, highlighting the cadets’ transition into greater leadership roles within the Corps.
The Graduation Ceremony represented the culmination of intense training and leadership development undertaken by the COQC 4CL Cadets, highlighting their resilience and dedication. Concurrently, the Donning of Ranks Ceremony signified the beginning of a new chapter for the 1CL and 2CL Advance Cadet Officers, who are now entrusted with enhanced leadership responsibilities within the Corps.
This event underscores the University of the Cordilleras’ dedication to nurturing leadership and service among its students, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education. The ROTC program provides cadets with critical skills in leadership, discipline, and civic duty, preparing them for meaningful contributions to their communities and the nation.
As these cadets assume their new roles, they embody the values of excellence, responsibility, and service, demonstrating that true leadership is grounded in perseverance and a profound sense of duty. The UC-PAF ROTC Unit remains committed to equipping future leaders with the knowledge and skills necessary to serve with integrity and dedication.
