The College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) of the University of the Cordilleras demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence by participating in TheIIER International Conference, held on April 5-6, 2023, in Bangkok, Thailand. This esteemed conference attracted scholars and academics from around the world to engage in discussions and showcase innovative research across various disciplines.
During the event, two distinguished members of the CCJE were honored for their exceptional research contributions. Ms. Debbie Karyle Arquero received dual accolades, including the “Best Presentation/Best Content” and “Best Research Paper” awards, while Ms. Nica D. Togana was recognized with the “Best Presentation/Best Content” award. These achievements reflect the College’s dedication to advancing research quality and aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4 and 17, which emphasize promoting quality education and fostering sustainable partnerships.
The research showcased at TheIIER International Conference exemplified the power of academic collaboration and global partnerships, as outlined in SDG 17, by facilitating a rich exchange of ideas that contribute to the advancement of knowledge. The recognition garnered by CCJE members highlights the university’s ongoing commitment to enhancing international ties and its research capabilities, paving the way for continued achievements in both academic and professional contexts.
