On February 4, 2023, the College of Criminal Justice Education, spearheaded by the Yugtong-Hirang Class proudly welcomed PCpl. Jenwin C. Bullingan, a distinguished alumnus of the SAMBISIG Class of 2014, as the keynote speaker for the weekly Alumni Hour series. This initiative is designed to enhance educational quality by integrating theoretical knowledge with practical applications through active alumni engagement.

During his address, PCpl. Bullingan imparted valuable insights drawn from his extensive law enforcement career, underscoring the essential qualities of resilience, discipline, and ethical responsibility required to navigate daily challenges. His firsthand experiences highlighted the significance of teamwork and mutual support, aligning with the core principles of Sustainable Development Goal 17, putting emphasis on partnerships.

The session also featured an engaging Q&A segment, allowing Criminology Practicum students to seek guidance on career trajectories, managing fieldwork stress, and fostering professional networks. The Alumni Hour series stands as a pivotal component of the Criminology Practicum, reflecting the university’s dedication to delivering quality education and cultivating future criminology professionals who are equipped to contribute meaningfully to their communities.
